Tiana Durbin

Born and raised in the surf and sand of Huntington Beach, fitness has always been the heartbeat of my life. My journey began on the volleyball court, where I spent my elementary, middle, and high school years learning the value of discipline and teamwork.

In 2015, my path took a transformative turn when I discovered CrossFit. Alongside my husband—who had recently transitioned out of the military—I had the incredible opportunity to train under Brian McKenzie, the founder of CrossFit Endurance. That experience, followed by a year of training at CrossFit Costa Mesa, deepened my understanding of human performance and fueled my passion for helping others.

Since moving to Idaho in 2017, I have spent seven years as a nutrition coach, helping clients fuel their bodies for longevity and strength. In 2021, as my youngest child turned two, I officially leveled up my coaching by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. Today, I combine years of high-level performance training and deep nutritional expertise to help my clients build lives that are as strong as they are sustainable.

James Durbin

James Durbin was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, where he developed the discipline, work ethic, and competitive drive that would shape the foundation of his career. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, graduating as Company Honor Man from Marine Corps Recruit Training and again earning Company Honor Man honors at the School of Infantry.

Driven to pursue the highest levels of military performance, James became a Recon Marine and graduated Honor Man from Marine Combat Dive School before finishing his enlistment with 1st Force Recon Company. His military career forged a deep understanding of resilience, leadership, physical preparation, and mental toughness under pressure.

Following his service, James continued his pursuit of elite human performance by training under world-renowned coach Brian Mackenzie, known for his work in endurance, breathwork, and performance optimization. He later trained under Max Mormont at CrossFit Costa Mesa, further expanding his knowledge of strength, conditioning, and functional fitness.

Today, James lives back home in Idaho with his wife, Tiana, and their two children, Penelope and Oliver. He trains clients out of Kali Collective, where he combines elite-level experience with practical coaching to help people build strength, confidence, resilience, and long-term health.
